We use Altium Designer for PCB design.

3D visualisation is a feature of the Altium PCB editor. Altium permits 3D and 2D export to STEP or IDF and also import of 3D STEP objects such as cabinets and other mechanical units - thus ensuring easy integration between the electrical and the mechanical designs. 

STEP (Standard for the Exchange of Product model data - ISO10303) is a standard MCAD data exchange format.
